Handmade for Cats

今日は、猫と暮らす工房付きの家へ。

以前から楽しみにしていた洗面スペースのタイル施工が、

ついに完成していました。

今回選んだのは、前から憧れていた平田タイルの「セドル」。

今回の家づくりの中でも特に楽しみにしていた部分のひとつです。

このタイルは、貼り方によって雰囲気がかなり変わるので、

事前に「こんなイメージで」と施工方法も細かくお願いしていました。

実は、自分が素敵だなと思った施工例を参考にさせてもらったのですが、

実際に仕上がった空間を見ると想像以上。

淡いグリーンの色合いと立体感のある模様が、

木のやさしい質感ともよく合っていて、

静かだけど存在感のある洗面スペースになっていました。

昔から“タイルのある風景”に憧れがあったので、

こうして少しずつ理想の空間が形になっていくのが本当に嬉しいです。

まだ鏡が付く前の状態ですが、

完成したらさらに雰囲気が良くなりそうで、今から楽しみです。

A custom washroom space is finally taking shape in our house with a workshop for living with cats.
We installed the “Cedor” tiles by Hirata Tile, a design we had admired for a long time.

The atmosphere changes depending on how the tiles are arranged, so we carefully planned the layout in advance.
The soft green tones and textured patterns blend beautifully with the natural wood, creating a calm and elegant space.

We’ve always loved interiors with tiles, so seeing this small dream come true is truly exciting.
We can’t wait to see the finished space once the mirror is installed.
